THE TEACHING APPRENTICESHIP
PROGRAM
Dance Experience Performing Arts Studio, LLC offers an Apprenticeship Program for novice dance instructors. They are new teachers & advance students in training who will assist, teach, and substitute for our classes alongside a professional faculty member as their mentor. They will also choreograph, participate in shows, and assist with the front desk. Their goal is to learn more about dance teaching methods and how to apply them with certain age groups, all while gaining the real hands-on experience in the classroom.

Since then, she has been an active part of the studio and has made yearly appearances in the studio's Nutcracker production since its premier in 2014. As part of the production, she assists with rehearsals and has played various roles including: Russian, Polichinelle, Arabian, Flowers, Snow, and the Maid.
Miss Emmie's dance training background includes 12 years at Above Arts Academy, 3 years Broadway Bound Dance Academy, and 3 years with the St. Louis Ballet School. In spring of 2019, she will graduate with her bachelors of science in Exercise Science from Missouri Baptist University. Miss Emmie has always wanted to be a dance teacher, and looks forward to sharing her God-given passion every week with her students.
